The master from Třinec solved the drama and continues to reign, the crisis of Sparta deepens

Until the last minute, the hockey players of Třinec had to fight for the victory in the match of the 20th round of the Tipsport extra league in Brno. The defenders of the trophy eventually take three points after the 3: 2 victory, stretched their winning streak to seven and consolidated their position as the leader in the table. In other matches Hradec Králové defeated Zlín 4: 1, Plzeň prepared another bitter loss to Sparta (6: 3), Karlovy Vary defeated Olomouc 3: 2 in overtime, Mladá Boleslav won 3: 2 in overtime on the ice of Liberec, Litvínov defeated Kladno 4: 3 and Vítkovice lost to Pardubice 4: 1.

The steelmakers sweated a lot in the replay of the quarterfinals of the playoffs in Brno. Ondřej Šedivý decided on their three-point gain in 59:21 with his first goal of the season. The steelmakers thus extended their winning streak to seven and stretched the series of matches in which they scored to seventeen. On the contrary, Kometa fell at home after three previous wins for three points.

The closest pursuer of the current champions, Hradec Králové, is also riding the winning wave. He confirmed the role of the favorite against the last Zlín, Jakub Lev opened the score right after 38 seconds and the match led Mountfield to a clear win, while allowing the opponent only an honorable success. The East Czechs won for the fourth time in a row and have not lost at home yet, but the current balance of the Zlín Rams is sad – the only win in the basic playing time and only eight points.

The black series of the Prague Sparta lasts! In the table, the team of Josef Jandač fell to the seventh place and did not win six matches in a row. This time, Pilsen decided on its win in the second period, which it won 3: 0, and remained in the elite four in the table. The Swede Ludwig Blomstrand shone in the Pilsen jersey with two goals, and his compatriot Erik Thorell passed on all three goals in the opponent’s colors.

Litvínov defeated Kladno 4: 3 and they bounced back to the penultimate Knights by a difference of seven points, in addition, they have played one less match. The North Bohemians succeeded after two matches without a point gain, although they missed the lead 3: 1 after the initial twenty minutes. At the beginning of the third period, the striker František Gerhát decided.

Vítkovice has started! Marek Kalus, in particular, was responsible for the fourth victory in a row, this time over the third Pardubice. Vítkovice has the eleventh position, but they have fewer matches than all opponents.
