Six signings of a stain has closed the Massi-Tactic UCI Women’s Team, that this coming season, that of 2022, will feature twelve girls on staff. It will be the fourth year in the elite, trying to track down or even improve the results of recent months. The new faces are those of Germany Corinna Lechner, the Polish Aurela Nerlo, the swedish Nathalie Eklund, the portuguese Sofia Gomes, the Ecuadorian Miryam Nunez i the mexican Andrea Ramírez.

The reinforcements join the runners who a few days ago renewed their ties. This is the case of the Slovenian Spela Kern and the Dutch Maaike Coljé, as well as Belén López from Cádiz, Mireia Benito from Tarragona, Martina Moreno from Osona and Empordà. Mireia Trias. The latter is the only representative of the Girona counties in the staff.

Sergi Güell, president of the Baix Ter Cycling Club, explains that all six signings “combine experience and youth”, while demonstrating his “hopes” of making a season “equal or better” than the latter. “We have signed runners who have been champions in Sweden, Ecuador or Mexico. We do not approach our team with a prominent leader, but we like to work as an euip based on the characteristics of each test,” he adds.

The Massi-Tactic UCI Women’s Team will begin the preseason next February.
