The European athletics country championships will be part of the European Games in Poland in 2023, the third edition of the name, organizers said on Wednesday.

The European Championships by country are organized in divisions with climbs and descents. They were to be organized in Spain in 2023, but the European Athletics Association has agreed with the European Olympic Committee (EOC) to organize it as part of the European Games in 2023 to be held in Poland, in Krakow, from June 21 to July 2. Athletics competitions are scheduled for Chorzow in Silesia at the Slaski Stadium where the Super League took place this year. Belgium were in the Premier League, the second of four European levels, in June in Cluj-Napoca in Romania, narrowly avoiding relegation. Glasgow in 2015 and Minsk in 2019 hosted the first two versions of this event, which is organized every four years. The 2023 edition also already has on its program 3X3 basketball, archery, badminton, beach-handball, beach-soccer, boxing, break-dance, canoeing, cycling, fencing, judo, karate, modern pentathlon, muay-thai (Thai boxing), kick-boxing, padel, shooting, ski jumping, climbing, table tennis, taekwondo, teqball (table tennis on a curved table) and triathlon.
