The driver of a car that collided head-on with a truck on Route 11 died

Yesterday afternoon there was a fatal accident at kilometer 154 of Route 11, according to sources from the National Highway Police Directorate.
In the accident, which occurred around 3:15 p.m., an adult woman died, who has not yet been identified.
The aforementioned sources explained that the car in which this person was traveling circulated on Route 11 from west to east and at a certain moment, for reasons that are being investigated, it hit head-on with a truck loaded with empty jugs that was circulating in the opposite direction.
The deceased was the sole occupant of the car, however, there is no data from the truck driver.
Accused of sexual abuse convicted in case where witness changed statement
A 20-year-old man was sentenced to eight years in prison (effective jail) for two crimes of particularly aggravated sexual abuse, a crime of private violence and a crime of robbery. The case occurred in 2019 and since then the defendant has been held in the Santiago Vázquez (former Comcar) prison awaiting the oral trial, which has just concluded with his sentence. The convicted person will also have to pay the victim 12 minimum wages as “patrimonial reparation,” says the court ruling to which Subrayado agreed. In addition, you will not be able to exercise parental authority or guardianship of minors or people with disabilities, nor can you work with this population. This case took an unexpected turn at the end of September this year when a witness said at trial that she wanted to change her initial statement (against the defendant) because she had been pressured by the prosecutor. That complaint against the Prosecutor’s Office is still in the investigation stage, however, the judge in the case understood that there was sufficient evidence to convict the accused of sexual abuse, private violence and robbery.
