The delegate for Education and Sports in Huelva, Estela Villalba, accompanied by the director of the Andalusian Center for Sports Medicine (CAMD), Leocricia Jiménez, has visited the facilities it has in the Sports City of Huelva, where high-performance athletes are tutored of the Andalusian Badminton and Mountaineering Federations, in the Climbing mode.

Specifically, during this week, a score of athletes from the Ceeda program, the Center for Educational Excellence in Sports in Andalusia, have been evaluated by the CAMD medical services, as indicated by the Board in a press release.

During the visit, the delegate explained that the Ministry wants to give athletes a “comprehensive” service from adolescence “that allows them to carry out their two careers, sports and academic, without having to choose. We like competition , but we care about people. “

For her part, the director of the Andalusian Center for Sports Medicine, Leocricia Jiménez, recalled the objectives of the Ceeda program, which combines academic monitoring, training, accommodation and medical control.

The aim is “that they have the maximum possible educational support and the maximum possible sports support. We want to facilitate this sports medicine care applied to their modality so that they achieve both their sports and academic objectives.”
