During the days of this week, I went to take a tour of the Pan American Tennis Center to see how the progress of the great tennis event was going and in addition to enjoying the achievement obtained by bringing a tournament of this magnitude, with a great friend how is the Lic. Gustavo Santoscoy.
And it is not for less after knowing each other for many years and going from player to director of the tennis academy and then director of the Puerta de Hierro club and many other things, such as exhibitions of the great players of the era of the 77, and Now to see him with this great dream come true, of course it is to enjoy it, because Gustavo likes to do things big, but this time he lost his hand, an incredible event that brings us all who love tennis.
I started walking to the new stadium, and when I arrived I saw the finished field, it is incredible, beautiful, being able to step on it and just knowing that the 8 best in the world are going to be there, my skin would be sore.
Looking around, I enjoyed how the stadium is almost finished, and I could see that the people who come, can be watching the games comfortably, and they can also be very close to the players.
Walking to the other courts, four to be more exact, will be where they will be training, and there the spectators will be able to see them training, in a closer position, ideal for each and every player in Mexico to take advantage of that great experience and learn and motivate yourself to get to that level.
The other four remaining courts will be covered, for international and national press, rooms for coaches, international television stations, a restaurant for all people.
The stadium where we have seen many tournaments will now be the home of the players, the court will be roofed so that they have a restaurant, rest room, etc., etc., all incredible, looking for all the comforts for each of them, thinking about serve them as true ladies and queens of tennis that they are.
This week the construction of the stand area will begin, several brands will be present and will serve all the spectators, in that same place there will be giant screens for people who want to continue watching the games and stay for the great tennis party and live with your friends, you will have that special place.
All this refers to the organization, and there are many more surprises that I cannot make known, but if we talk about the players, the best news we could receive is that the Mexican tennis player Giuliana Olmos will be participating in doubles, this will be It’s crazy, being able to have a compatriot among the best, in addition to the great joy that “GUGU” is at the event causes, will mean a lot to all the kids who come to see her and cheer on her.
