The badminton club is open to young players

Since the start of the school year, and to respond to a request from families, the Badminton Club of Lattes, chaired by Michel Dagorne, has opened a “Youth” section on Saturday morning at the departmental hall of the Impasse des Roselières, near the Georges college. -Brassens.

From 10 years old for the youngest, participants take lessons from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. then participate in free sessions from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. or from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. depending on the availability of the room.

The lessons are given by three educators registered with the French Badminton Federation (FFBAD): Georges, Jason and Van Bau. On the program, setting up the courts, warming up, badminton history, theory, practice, games, and matches.

For adults, three slots are open each week, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The room is located 10 minutes from the “Lattes-center” terminus of tram line 3, between the Brassens college and the Les Néréides swimming pool.
