On October 29, after 8 days of concentrated competition, the 11th National Paralympic Games and the 8th Special Olympic Games came to an end in Xi’an, Shaanxi. The Chongqing athletes performed well in this competition, with 51 golds, 65 silvers and 46 bronzes, and a total of 162 medals. Among them, the Paralympics won 22 golds, 36 silvers and 32 bronzes, and the Special Olympics won 29 golds, 29 silvers and 14 bronzes, showing the city’s disabled athletes’ love for sports and dreams and their tenacious and hardworking sportsmanship.

During the main season, the Chongqing table tennis team won a total of 6.5 golds, 5 silvers and 5 bronzes, badminton won 2 golds, 4 silvers and 3 bronzes, boccia won 1 gold, 3 silvers and 2 bronzes, and track and field gained 4 silvers and 4 bronzes.
