The 20-year-old South Tyrolean Jannik Sinner beat the Norwegian Casper Ruud in the quarter-finals and will play the semifinals of the ATP 500 tournament in Vienna next Monday, challenging the American Frances Tiafoe. Sinner prevailed over Ruud after an hour and 37 minutes of play with 7-5, 6-1. The German Alexander Zverev and the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz will play in the other semifinal.
