This weekend takes place the U13 inter-committee tournament which was initially due to take place in June 2021 and which has been moved due to a health crisis. This gathering is an opportunity for all the U13 departmental and territorial selections of the Occitanie basketball league, to compete against each other. The meeting is scheduled in Salies-du-Salat and Saint-Girons from today to Monday. An essential step in the process of detecting the territory’s future potentials, this event initiated by the League, is the queen competition of the U13 category. For this edition of the Inter-Committee tournament, the territorial selections of Quercy Garonne will meet in the gymnasiums facing the committees 31,34, 11,65,12,32,81, and 30 for girls and boys.
At the end of several days of training which took place on the sites of Caussade, Cahors, Montpezat-de-Quercy and Montauban, the female and male U13 selections will be made up of 10 players and 2 substitutes, from different clubs in the area. At the end of this tournament, two days of training will take place in common with the selections of the Gers with the aim of making a selection Gercy (Quercy + Gers) which will participate in an interterritory tournament (TIT) at Christmas in Auch on 17, 18, and December 19.
