The Luís Felipe association of the city of Huelva has announced the list of winners of the ‘2021 Luís Felipe Awards’. After voting by the associates, those selected are:

  • Culture Award 2021: Sixto Romero, Graduate and Doctor in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Seville for his work in the dissemination and approach of science to the population and especially to the youngest.
  • Sport Award 2021: Assyrian Club of Huelva who for more than 30 years has worked in the province to keep the archery love alive with numerous sporting triumphs.
  • Gracias Awards: Ana Vives, rWell-known journalist for the daily Huelva Información who left us a few months ago after fighting a long illness. El Mani, singer and composer recognized for his contribution to the world of sevillanas and who also left us in recent months

  • Special Mentions: Stroke Unit of the Juan Ramón Jiménez University Hospital and Infoca Huelva

“Each and every one of the winners do their bit for an ever better Huelva”, indicates the association, which indicates that the awards gala will be held on January 15, 2022 in Huelva.
