Seine-et-Marne, Olympic destination from Tokyo 2021 to Paris 2024

It was in the remarkable medieval castle of Blandy-les-Tours that the launch party for the new Seine-et-Marne Olympiad was held, organized on Tuesday, October 25 in honor of the Seine-et-Marne athletes.

In front of the presidents of associations and federations of Seine-et-Marne sports clubs, the President of the Department congratulated the 3 medalists of the Tokyo Olympic Games: the athletes Pauline Ranvin and Astrid Guyart, silver medalists, as well as the champion Olympic gold medalist Enzo Lefort, of the club Melun Val de Seine fencing circle. “By their victories, they make the colors of our country and our department shine during the biggest sporting event in the world”, says Bouchra Fenzar-Rizki, Vice-President in charge of sports.

Also, the President of the Department is very proud of the non-medalist athletes who participated in the Tokyo Olympic Games and paid tribute to Aurore Gauthier, world champion in roller hockey, also agent of the Department of Seine-et-Marne.
