Schalke 04 loses 1-0 in Heidenheim

Dthree days after the cup at third division 1860 Munich, the successful streak of FC Schalke 04 also came to an end in the 2nd Bundesliga. After four consecutive wins without conceding a goal, the Bundesliga relegated player at 1. The guests were lucky when Heidenheim’s Tobias Mohr put a long-range shot on the lower edge of the crossbar (17th minute). On the other hand, Schalke’s Victor Palsson missed the lead for the guests with two headers (22nd, 27th).

Intensity after the break

The game remained intense after the break, but there were still no ideas ahead. Schalke striker Simon Terodde headed just past from close range (74th). Then it was Hüsing who, in the final phase, scored the decision in favor of the FCH with a header.

1. FC Nürnberg has suffered its first defeat of the season in the 2nd Bundesliga. The Franks lost the chase duel at Darmstadt 98 with 0: 2 (0: 1) three days after the cup against league rivals Hamburger SV and thus remain fourth for the time being.
