The 63rd Thrush Festival returns from 29 to 31 October. The districts of Borghetto, Pianello, Ruga and Travaglio will compete in Montalcino, as usual, in the archery tournament.
The program Friday 29 October at 6.30 pm-C hiostro del Museo Presentation of the work of the Sienese artist Luca Pollai who will be awarded to the winning district of the archery tournament (access only with green pass and up to the maximum capacity allowed) .
Saturday 30 October at 12 – Historical Town Hall, Council Chamber: Draw of archers (behind closed doors in live streaming). 4 pm Departure of the Historical Parade from Piazza Cavour to the Campo di Tiro. 4.45 pm Shooting range: “Provaccia” for archery (admission by reservation only to the districts and maximum capacity allowed). Sunday 31 October 11.20 am Departure of the Historical Parade from piazza Cavour 11.45 am Churchyard of Sant’Egidio: Blessing of the archers 12 noon Fortress: the Auctioneer announces the Feast, offering of gifts to the Lords of Fortezza and greeting of the Archers (access only with green pass and up to the maximum capacity allowed 3 pm Departure of the Historical Parade from Piazza Cavour to the shooting range 3:45 pm Shooting range: Archery competition (admission by reservation only to the Districts and maximum capacity allowed).

An edition, the one scheduled for August, organized, in fact, in full compliance with all the regulations and provisions related to the Covid-19 emergency.
