Clásico RCN: won in Murillo
Manizales. Yeison Reyes, from EPM Scott, won yesterday the fifth stage of the Clásico RCN Andina, disputed between Honda and Murillo (Tolima), over 104 kilometers. The Zipaquireño Wilson Peña, from Colombia Tierra de Atletas, maintained the leadership of the race. Today they will go from Mariquita to Ibagué, 114 kilometers away.
Tennis Open announced at the Fair
Manizales. The leadership of the Caldense Tennis League and the Manizales Tennis Club announced the union to carry out the Open of the Fair. The triathlon at the Sea and Beach Games
Manizales. Maira Alejandra Vargas, Carolina Velásquez, Carlos Javier Quinchará and Eduardo Londoño will compete for Caldas today in the mixed relay event of the National Sea and Beach Games. They will do 250 meters of swimming, 5 of cycling and 1.5 of athletics. Caldas won gold and silver last Tuesday with Quinchará and Vargas.
2022 Women’s America’s Cup
Manizales. Manizales, Armenia, Medellín and Cali appear among the cities analyzed as places for the 2022 Copa América Femenina, the venue assigned to Colombia yesterday by the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol). Manizales. Caldense pilots Julián Jaramillo and Mauricio Salazar finished fourth in the Carrera Panamericana that was held on Mexican soil. Jaramillo and Salazar, supported by Mobil1, Terpel GT Extra 98, Ron Viejo de Caldas and Med Plus, fulfilled their objective after more than 4 thousand kilometers of travel in their Mazda RX 7 model 78 throughout Mexico, with a balance of 6 completed stages and five podiums added in the Historic A Plus.
