(S) Seen from afar – The moment is serious, we need to make a square between Genoa and the fans

Ballardini continues to change formations, schemes and men. Many fans think that he is just making a mess and that he should be sacked. In reality, beyond a few errors, the real problem is that Ballardini is simply “trying them all”.

Genoa’s problem is not the coach, who in the past has always shown that he has very clear ideas about men and schemes. The problem is Genoa have the poorest squad in the league and, were it not for Cagliari’s success, they would be last.

Compared to the last Genoa Ballardini, Preziosi has let go of Radovanovic, Zappacosta, Strootman, Zajc, Scamacca, Eldor, Pjaca, practically 5 starters, that is ¾ of attack, without replacing them adequately.

No one would have expected to regret Radovanovic, but despite his technical limitations, his determination and discipline on the pitch are lacking.

Maksimovic had been standing still for some time and in fact was injured almost immediately.

Strootman was replaced by Hernani in the “Eldor” operation. The boy has not yet arrived. He also got injured after some bad performances.

Fares, however taken on August 31st, is not Zappacosta and he too was injured.

In attack Samacca, Eldor and Pjaca were not replaced.

Caicedo is a double of Destro, who Preziosi would have sent to La Spezia for Nzola. Many would like to see them on the pitch together from the start but yesterday Ballardini explained that the former Lazio player only has 30 minutes in his legs.

Other supporting actors such as Ekuban, Kallon, Biraschi, Ghiglione, Sturaro, Bani, are not players who can fill the role of starter in Serie A. Some would not even play starters in B.

Let’s take note: this Genoa risks being the mattress team of the championship.

The new American property, 777 Partners, has not yet had the opportunity to touch the ball so far, but in January it will have to invest heavily in the market with players ready and quality.

We need to make a square between the club, the fans, the coach and the team, trying to get to December with at least 15 points.

We will place any relegation in Preziosi’s account.

Now all the Genoans need to be even more united with their Genoa. Not just the North, but everyone.

Never like today, Forza Genoa.
