Rösrath: Judo: Four podium places in the Hope Valley district

(red) The TV Hoffnungsthal had qualified with six participants for the district championship and a district tournament in Leverkusen for the judoka of the U11 / U13 / U15.

The children were accompanied by their parents and their coach Nils Schweitzer. The younger participants make the start. Julia Wdoniak took second place and Sarah Dresp came third. Despite a strong field of participants, Simon Dresp was able to prevail. He only had to admit defeat once and came in second. Marlon Weber and Kai M. Becker could not place themselves in the front seats. However, you have gained important experience after the long corona break.

Lucie Adler from the U15 took third place in the BEM and thus qualified for the national individual championship. Thus, a week later, Lucie, accompanied by her trainer Willi Steinke, competed against the participants from all over North Rhine-Westphalia in glorious sunshine in Lippstadt. For Lucie, at the age of 13, it is the first year in the U15 and had to compete against older opponents. During the two-minute fight time, Lucie did not give up a second and fought highly motivated until the end. Lucie won one fight and lost just under two fights. In the end, Lucie finished in 7th place and received compliments from many trainers for her committed fighting performance. Lucie has been a member of TVH for seven years and is very committed to the sport. Since recently she has also been a youth trainer and also takes care of newcomers.
