Puebla, Pue. – With the participation of 25 municipalities, the Macro Regional stage of the “Tournament of Champions Puebla 2021” concluded in the disciplines of basketball and soccer, having as headquarters the municipalities of Xicotepec, Teziutlán, San Salvador Huixcolotla, Cuautlancingo, Tehuacán and Izúcar de Matamoros.
Barcelona fires Ronald KoemanThe finalist teams in the women’s basketball discipline will meet at the “Miguel Hidalgo” Gymnasium on November 12, 13 and 14. While, the men’s branch will have its eliminatory on November 26, 27 and 28.
In the 2005-2006 category of women’s basketball, Xicotepec, Teziutlán, Rafael Lara Grajales, Cuautlancingo, Tehuacán, San Jerónimo Xayacatlán, San Martín Texmelucan and Tecamachalco reached the final. While, in the men’s branch, Xicotepec, Teziutlán, Cuautlancingo, Huixcolotla, Tehuacán, Atlixco, San Martín Texmelucan and Izúcar de Matamoros passed.
Regarding the 2007-2008 category female branch, the municipalities that will face are Xicotepec, Teziutlán, Chalchicomula de Sesma, Puebla, Tehuacán, San Jerónimo Xayacatlán, San Martín Texmelucan and Zacapoaxtla. In the same sense, the male finalists are Tlaxco, Rafael Lara Grajales, Chalchicomula de Sesma, Tehuacán, Cuautlancingo, San Jerónimo Xayacatlán, San Martín Texmelucan and Teteles de Ávila Castillo.
On the other hand, the state soccer stage will take place on the fields of the “Mario Vázquez Raña” Sports Unit on November 19, 20 and 21, where the municipalities of Teziutlán, Puebla, Chignahuapan, Zacatlán, will meet. Zacapoaxtla, Zaragoza, San Andrés Cholula and Zoquitlán.
With these actions, the agency promotes physical activity in the 217 municipalities, in addition to promoting healthy competition among girls, boys and young people when holding these meetings, where 537 women and 475 men were registered.
It should be noted that the State Government, through the Poblano Sports Institute (INPODE), will support the finalists with lodging and meals at the High Performance State Center (CAR), in addition to providing refereeing, balls, uniforms. and awards to the first three places in each category and branch.
