PSG-Leipzig (3-2): from the fear of Mbappé to the Panenka of Messi, the images of the Parisian evening

A festival of goals, a hug between two legends and a great fear in the corridors … Beyond the narrow victory of the Parisians against RB Leipzig (3-2), the match gave rise to several funny or spectacular sequences on Tuesday evening at the Parc des Princes.

The first is legendary. It is a hug to seven Golden Balls, that of Ronaldinho, who had made the trip to the stadium, with Messi. A former Parisian and a current one, reunited during the warm-up.

Another streak should feed the end of the year bloopers. A few minutes before the start of this third day of group stage, the PSG players gather in the corridors of the Parc des Princes to prepare to set foot on the lawn. Suddenly, Kylian Mbappé gets agitated, lowers his head, shakes his arms. The referee was simply trying his whistle. Too close to the Paris star’s ears, no doubt.

Once on the pitch, the striker did not take long to return to his match. In the tenth minute, he signed a race of about 35 meters, before deceiving the goalkeeper in his characteristic style.

The Parisians were then jostled. Leipzig equalized in the 28th minute. Angelino serves to the millimeter his teammate André Silva who deceives Navas, the Parisian goalkeeper. Then in the 57th minute, Leipzig took the lead. Mukiele marks, served by Angelino, again him.

The end of the match is more encouraging. After trying to combine several times, the Mbappé-Messi duo managed to transform. The Argentinian equalized in the 67th minute.

But the best was yet to come. In the 73rd minute, PSG won a penalty. Messi marks him… with a superb Panenka.

Leipzig will never come back, even conceding a new penalty, this time missed by Mbappé.
