Pro League makes its own RSZ proposal

The social security contributions of the footballers must be increased, that is certain. In the 2022 budget, an additional 25 million euros has already been added from football. The Pro League has now made a proposal to reach that amount.

To protect the lower wages, the Pro League proposes to raise the social security ceiling to 60,000, where it is currently 28,000 euros. That would mean that a player who earns 5,000 euros per month would then pay 1,903 euros RSZ instead of 884 euros now, calculated. HLN.

Wages above 60,000 euros will be classified in other tranches. A higher bracket should also contribute a higher percentage. Disc 2 are wages between 60,000 and 200,000 euros. Disc 3 which is between 200,000 and 500,000 euros. Disk 4 which is between 500,000 and 1 million. The fifth and most heavily taxed bracket is for high earners who earn more than 1 million euros.

In addition, the Pro League also wants to get money from the European prize money to get to that 25 million.
