Jan Pohl gets a chance in the extra league, the defender of the first league Sokolov will help Kladno’s defense. The club informed about it on its website.
The 30 – year – old hockey player has introduced himself to the domestic elite only twice in his career so far, in both cases it was for Prague ‘s Sparta – last January in a 2: 1 triumph in overtime over Pardubice and in October he was 3: 1 in Litvínov.
“It’s an experienced backyard who will help us this weekend, when we play with Liberec on Friday and in Litvínov on Sunday. After some of our defenders temporarily dropped out, we had to react and decided for him, “says coach David Čermák.
“Up to five teams are relegated in the first league and there is a lot of play there, but Sokolov has time off this weekend, thanks to which they released Honza for us,” adds the Knights’ sports manager, adding that it will be seen what will happen to the seasoned defender.
Jan Pohl said about the extra-league chance in Kladno with excellent performances in Sokolov. In the current year of the second highest competition, he scored a great 12 points, scored four goals in 14 matches and added eight recordings.
