This weekend of October 16-17, the judo planet will have its gaze on the tatami mats of the Accor Arena for the 2021 edition of the Paris Grand Slam.
The event will be watched live and exclusively on Eurosport 1, the Eurosport app and Eurosport.fr with the event kicking off at 5 p.m. every day. The fights will be commented by Flavien Bories and Frédérique Jossinet.
On the men’s side, the French delegation will be led by Cyrille Maret who has already occupied the podium of the competition five times in the + 100kg category, with in particular three consecutive titles between 2014 and 2016. After two titles in the -90kg category, Alexandre Iddir will now try to win the title in the top category, in -100kg. Team gold medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Guillaume Chaine will also be present, in the -73kg category.
Among the ladies, viewers will find Audrey Tcheuméo titled four times in the -78kg category. In the -52kg category, Astride Gneto intends to reach the highest places on the podium after her bronze medals in 2018 and 2019, a goal shared by Priscilla Gneto in the -57kg category.
