His judocas stood out in the Cup of Spain Cadete Suances 2021 and in the Spanish University Championship.
Telde on October 27, 2021.- The Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports of the Telde City Council, Diego Ojeda, congratulates the Las Nieves Akari Judo Club after the excellent results obtained by his athlete in the Cup of Spain Cadete Suances 2021 and in the Spanish University Judo Championship, in the latter, representing the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
In the Cup of Spain Cadet Suances 2021, they achieved a gold medal, Alejandro García; silver, Laura Volo; bronze Daniela Rivero, Andrea Alonso, Nira Rodríguez, Elena Ramírez and Eric Morales, adding a 5th place from Ruyman Romero and a 7th from Ayhan Caballero.
While, in the Spanish University Judo Championship, representing the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, its athletes Zuleima Falcón Sánchez, Carolina Rivero Suárez and Getsemani Almenara Betancor, each achieved bronze medals, which together with the seventh position achieved by Gabriel Espino Guedes managed to place the ULPGC in fifth position in the 2021 Spanish University Championships.
Ojeda congratulated the entire Judoka family of Las Nieves Akari “it is a great joy for the city of Telde and for the Canary Islands that the athletes of Las Nieves Akari are achieving so many national successes, being at the height of the best judocas from Spain. From the municipal institution, we feel tremendously proud that the work of many years is giving its results.
