NFL: Packers pass by Football Team and win 6th in a row | football

The Green Bay Packers definitely put the stumbling block in week 1 behind them. With an efficient afternoon of attack, the team defeated the Washington Football Team 24-10 this Sunday at Lambeau Field, winning their sixth consecutive victory of the season.

Washington had chances to make the game even, but wasted three touchdown chances on the three times he came within the 10-yard line of the offense in the second half, with two unconverted fourth downs and an intercept thrown by Taylor Heinicke.

The Green Bay Packers started with the ball and have already spent half their fourth clock in their first campaign. After almost eight minutes, Aaron Rodgers found Davante Adams in a beautiful pass on a fourth down, who advanced to the end zone to open the scoring, 7-0.

Washington’s response came shortly thereafter. The team advanced 83 yards in eight plays, including the last one in which Terry McLaurin received a nice pass from Taylor Heinicke, tying the game 7 to 7.

After a punt from Green Bay, the Football Team advanced to the 24-yard line of the attacking field. In a fourth down to five, the team decided to kick a field goal, which was blocked by the Packers. Soon after, Washington paid with the same coin, getting the block in an attempt for three points by the owners of the house.

Before the break, the Green Packers got their second touchdown of the match. Aaron Rodgers found Alan Lazard in the endzone, making the score 14-7 before going to the locker room.

In the first play of the second half Rashan Gary forced the fumble over Taylor Heinicke, recovered by Dean Lowry. Three moves later, Aaron Rodgers found Robert Tonyan in the end zone for another touchdown, opening 21-7.

With 1:05 left in the third quarter, Washington risked a fourth down for two yards on the attacking three-yard line but failed to make a touchdown or first down, leaving the campaign with no points. Green Bay recovered the ball and got the field goal, expanding the advantage to 24 to 7.

Washington arrived in the redzone on the next inauguration, but once again left with no points after Taylor Heinicke threw an intercept. Luckily for the team, AJ Dillon fumbled shortly thereafter, returning the ball to the Football Team. This time the visitors got at least one field goal, cutting the deficit to 24 to 10.

Already in desperation with 2:25 left in the game, the Washington Football Team attempted an onside kick but failed to recover. The team used their times and managed to retrieve the 2:03 ball for the end, but it wasn’t enough time for a reaction. Final score, Packers win the Football Team 24 to 10.

The Green Bay Packers return to the field on Thursday, to face the Cardinals in Arizona. The Washington Football Team will travel to Denver to face the Broncos, on Sunday (31) at 5:25 pm.
