New loss for Milwaukee to Dallas in last preseason game

Milwaukee was defeated Saturday by Dallas (114-103) for its last preseason game. The NBA champions played with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday, but without Khris Middleton.

Defeated by Dallas on Saturday (114-103), the Bucks recorded a fourth loss in five preseason games. Without Khris Middleton, but with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday, the reigning NBA champions have never endangered the Mavericks, who played without Luka Doncic.

The Greek winger, MVP of the finals last year, achieved a double-double, with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Jordan Nwora added 15 points for his fifth double-digit preseason game. The Nigerian international winger runs with a preseason average of 17.8 points and 6.3 rebounds in 23 minutes.

The French Frank Ntilikina, signed by Dallas in the offseason, spent 22 minutes on the floor, for 3 points (1/8 shooting), 1 rebound and 5 assists. For Milwaukee, things will start on Wednesday, with a first regular-season shock against the Nets trio Irving-Durant-Harden.

Curry already in the rhythm
In the other meetings of the night, Golden State dominated Portland (119-97), thanks to a new major performance from Stephen Curry. The 33-year-old point guard scored 41 points (13/23) to wrap up his preseason in an ideal way, with a fifth win in five games.

Miami also managed its last outing. Tyler Herro (29 points, 6 rebounds) and Jimmy Butler (25 points, 4 rebounds) carried the Heat against Boston, for a 121-100 final victory. Jayson Tatum, despite 23 points and 8 rebounds, could not prevent the defeat of his team.

In short
Evan Fournier (8 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists) and the Knicks beat Washington on the wire (115-113). The Pistons offered Philadelphia (112-108, Killian Hayes did not play), Cleveland dominated the Pacers (110-94). Despite the few minutes of French Yves Pons (5 minutes) and Killian Tillie (1 rebound in 5 minutes), the Grizzlies fell in Chicago (118-105). San Antonio largely beat the Rockets (126-98), with 20 points from Derrick White and Dejounte Murray.
