Netizens were blasphemed, Taiwan’s Men’s Doubles are now flooded with support

INDOSPORT.COM – Taiwan’s men’s doubles, Lu Ching Yao is now flooded with praise after providing clarification about his action at the 2021 French Open.

Competing at Stade Pierre de Coubertin, Lu Ching Yao/Yang Po Han won over Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin, Wednesday (27/10/21).

The Taiwanese men’s doubles pair won in two straight games with a score of 22-24, 17-21. In the first round match, Lu Ching Yao often expressed happiness by shouting after scoring points.

However, Indonesian netizens actually consider it an intimidating negative act. After the match ended, Lu Ching Yao apparently received various negative comments from Indonesian netizens.

Suddenly, Yang Po Han’s partner immediately clarified what he shouted in the first round of the 2021 French Open.

“Hi Indonesian friends, Thank you for all the support. Po Han and I really appreciate it. Regarding people who say we are disrespectful to Indonesian players, that’s not true,” wrote Lu Ching Hao on his Instagram instastory.

“Indonesian players are one of the players I respect the most. If we, however, offend any of you, we apologize. But please understand that we never underestimate any player. Peace be upon you,” he continued.

After that, the Twitter account @BadmintonTalk reminded badminton lovers to be wise in commenting and not to write hate speech.

“Do not hate comment to the athletes guys. Until you say sorry lol, even though they didn’t do anything wrong. Just comment with support for the athletes you idolize, so that you will be more enthusiastic, yuhuuu,” wrote @BadmintonTalk.
