NBA: Zach LaVine (Bulls) plays despite injury

Chicago Bulls star Zach LaVine had a magnetic resonance imaging test that revealed an injury to his left thumb.

He plans to continue playing despite it, however, ESPN reports.

She does not affect her dominant hand for throwing. She’s been bugging him since Monday, in a 111-108 victory over the Toronto Raptors. The team subsequently decided to have it examined.

The injury is not expected to get worse by continuing to play. It does not seem to have affected his performance. LaVine remains the leader of his team in points, with an average of 25.5 per game. It has 44% efficiency on three point shots and 50% on others.

The Bulls, who are off to a 4-0 start for the first time since 1996-97, will host the New York Knicks on Thursday night at the United Center.

The injury was first reported by The Athletic.
