NBA: Dennis Schröder strong, Franz Wagner convinced in Orlando

Boston in the OT: Hornets run also ends thanks to Schröder

The Boston Celtics have inflicted their first defeat on the Charlotte Hornets, who started the season 3-0. In overtime, the guests could hardly be stopped and thanks to a 14-0 run they celebrated a clear 140:12 victory in the end.

Miles Bridges, newly elected Player of the Week in the Eastern Conference, scored 25 points again, but was trumped on the other side by Jayson Tatum (41 points) and Jaylen Brown (30). Dennis Schröder also knew how to convince with 23 points, six rebounds and eight assists. The Celtics improved their record to 2-2.

Chicago celebrates its best start to the season since 1996

The Chicago Bulls won a thrilling game at the Toronto Raptors 111-108, making them the only unbeaten team in the East. For the traditional franchise from the “Windy City” this is synonymous with the best start to the season since 1996 – when Michael Jordan was still wearing the Bulls jersey with the number 23.

In the newly assembled ensemble, the veterans DeMar DeRozan (26 points / 4 rebounds / 6 assists) and Zach LaVine (22/4/5) were particularly convincing. At the Raptors, Fred VanVleet gave away the three-point to equalize in the final second, Toronto also lost its third home game.

Hartenstein productive for clippers – good Wagner cannot avert Magic bankruptcy

Isaiah Hartenstein was allowed to participate in the clear 116:86 victory of the Los Angeles Clippers against the Portland Trail Blazers for around 17 minutes and did not miss any of his four throws during this time, only one of two free throws. The German-American Big Man contributed a good nine points in total.

The performance of Franz Wagner was also good, but not crowned with success. The Berlin rookie scored 15 points in the 90: 107 against the Miami Heat, also collected a steal, two rebounds and four assists. Brother Moritz Wagner only got three points from the bank. Jimmy Butler excelled in the heat with 36 points and a strong rate (15/21).
