First defeats of the season for Chicago and Golden State while the Jazz make 4 out of 4 scrambling Houston for 122-91 and sending seven players in double figures, starting with Bogdanovic (19 points) and Gobert (16 points and 14 rebounds): this is Utah’s best regular-season start since 2006-07.

The Bulls, on the other hand, know the taste of defeat at the hands of New York at the end of a very tight match (104-103), with Chicago returning to contact with a 12-0 run in the final. Starring in the Knicks Kemba Walker (21 points) and RJ Barrett (20 points), with NY fourth in five games. In the Stoic LaVine Bulls, 25 points while playing with a sprain in the left thumb ligament.

First stop also for Golden State, overtaken in overtime by Memphis (104-101) driven by an increasingly leading Ja Morant, beyond the 30 points on the scoresheet. Stephen Curry closes with 36 points but remains dry in both the last quarter and overtime, missing a couple of triples that would have changed the story of the match.

The Texan derby between Dallas and San Antonio goes to the Mavericks (104-99) where the usual Luka Doncic shines (25 points including 10 in the last period) while in the East Joel Embiid continues to grit his teeth despite the problems in his right knee and with a performance of 30 points and 18 rebounds he is decisive in the 110-102 in Philadelphia against Detroit, the only team in the whole League not to have won a match yet.

Bad evening for Danilo Gallinari and his Hawks, who bump into Washington: 122-111 for the Wizards, among the surprises of this start of the season. With Dinwiddie at rest, Bradley Beal (27 points) and Montrezl Harrell (25 points and 13 rebounds) take care of it, the best in Atlanta is John Collins (28 points), Trae Young closes with 15 points and 13 assists, for Gallo 6 points (2/4 from the field with 1/1 from three and 1/1 to free) and a rebound in 18 minutes.
