The conditions of sports parks supported by investment in the central budget are limited in terms of land area, greening rate, and functional settings.
In terms of area, the main purpose of supporting sports parks with a total area of not less than 100,000 square meters is to ensure that sports parks have the basic scale conditions to become a city’s healthy life center and sports and leisure center.
In terms of greening rate, it is required that the greening rate should not be less than 65%. The main purpose is to prevent sports facilities from occupying the green space excessively, to ensure that the people exercise in a green environment, breathe fresh air, and enjoy the pleasant scenery.
In terms of function settings, at least 4 types of functions such as regular ball games, running and walking, equipment exercises, and children’s amusement activities must be provided.
