The show, which will launch next season, will feature 96 minor league clubs Different across all four levels that will host at least one superhero-themed night featuring popular Marvel characters, with specialty t-shirts of course, along with other Marvel-themed activities and promotions that take place throughout the game.
The series of events is officially called «Marvel’s Defenders of the Diamond» and it will also come with its own comic series, which will be distributed at participating stadiums. And then there’s this press release plot twist: “Co-branded merchandise and other surprises to be unveiled in 2022.”

“MiLB’s new partnership with Marvel Entertainment brings together two storied brands creating memories that are passed down through the generations,” said MLB’s vice president of minor league business operations, Kurt Hunzeker. “The possibilities with this partnership are endless and we look forward to incredibly creative content, merchandise and promotions.
