Merzlikin repelled 33 shots in the Blue Jackets loss to the NHL

Merzlikin’s Blue Jackets of Columbus gave up the New York Rangers 0: 4 (0: 2, 0: 0, 0: 2).

The Latvian goalkeeper repelled 33 of the 37 shots of the opposing team, accumulating 89.2% of the repelled shots. For Merzlikik, this season was the first loss in five games. The Latvian goalkeeper scored the last two goals in the minority.

In the opposite goal, Igor Shestjorkin repelled 31 shots and for the first time this season kept his goal “dry”.
