Matthias Casse will fight for bronze in -81 kg in Paris

Title holder Matthias Casse, world number 2 in his category, will fight for bronze in -81 kg at the Grand Slam judo tournament in Paris on Sunday for his comeback in competition after his bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics.

Matthias Casse, exempted from the first round, first beat the Canadian François Gauthier-Drapeau, 23, unranked before losing in the quarter-finals against the Japanese Takeshi Sasaki (ncl).
