Lot. Full of entertainment and activities for the All Saints holidays

It smells good vacation from Toussaint and the Lot is full of proposals for activities during this period. Here are some proposals to do alone or with the family until November 7, 2021.

Natural sites

Phosphatiers at Cloup d’Aural in Bach. Discover the mineral and fossil riches, witnesses of a thousand-year-old history. Immerse yourself in the history of extinct worlds and observe the evolution of climates over 30 million years … Always in a fun and interesting way. Pterosaur beach at Crayssac. A day at the beach is even tempting in November. Take a leap back 150 million years and discover the history of these pterosaurs, thanks to the traces they left in the limestone. Exciting, fun, rewarding. Pech Merle cave in Cabrerets. Autumn is a great opportunity to visit this exceptional site in peace. On the eve of the 100th anniversary of its discovery, come and enjoy this cave art, renowned for its real paintings dating back 29,000 years. Until November 15, 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Health pass required and reservation recommended on 05 65 31 27 05 or on www.pechmerle.com. Hobbies

Escape game à Luzech. Imagined in partnership with Lot of Sports, a specialist in exercise, the enigma offers players, made up as a team, to explore a barge washed up at 19e century, in search of the lost treasure of the Notre-Dame-de-île chapel. All participants easily get caught up in the game. A great time shared, time to get out of the room. Prices from 17 to 28 € per person (maximum 6 players) – from 12 years old. Health pass requested. Géocaching. Free and for all profiles, geocaching allows you to discover a destination or even your own city in a different way, to think outside the box, to discover hidden treasures of Lotois heritage and to be surprised by their history or surprising anecdotes. In short, a global treasure hunt! Karting circuit. Karthors offers karting tours on its outdoor circuit, located in the Cahors Sud Business Park (next to Cahors aerodrome), 7 days a week during the All Saints holidays, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Contact : www.karthors.fr.

Hobbies. Kalapca à Bouziès offers many outdoor activities: archery, caving, underground via corda, via ferrata, adventure course and canoe trips. On reservation. Open during holidays from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. except Monday. Site: www.kalapca.com.

Discovery Farm. The Animal Manor of Saint-Pierre-Lafeuille open every day during the All Saints holidays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Workshops for children are offered every day. Contact: 07 80 66 75 09.

Unusual. La Ferme de Létou in Saint-Cirq-Lapopie offers to participate in the milking of goats every day at 6 p.m. Contact: 06 18 42 46 28.

Science for all

Walks and open sites

Hanging gardens. a pedestrian path in Puy-l’Évêque, between the upper town and the river allows you to enjoy a beautiful landscape. The course offers privileged points of view on the landscape of the vineyard and the roofs of the city. On the Marguerite Bessière footbridge, the street furniture in Corten steel is harmoniously combined with the tiered terraced gardens.

During the All Saints holidays, many sites, museums and castles remain open.
