A young soccer fan has asked the Argentine soccer star Lionel Messi (34) for his first name for forgiveness. At the base of the Argentine national team in Ezeiza (Buenos Aires), the eleven-year-old waited with a banner for his idol.
It read: “Messi, forgive my mother. She didn’t know what she was doing, ”read the poster. “My name is Cristiano.”
An Argentine sports journalist published a photo of the boy on Twitter, on Wednesday it went viral on the social networks of the South American country.
Lionel Messi and the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo are among the best footballers of their generation and are considered rivals.
Despite his creative poster, little Cristiano did not see his idol Messi. As a security measure against the corona virus, the Argentine national players are currently isolated on the grounds of the football association at the gates of Buenos Aires.
