Along with the Portuguese Goncalo Oliveira, the national tennis player celebrated at Club Las Terrazas de Miraflores after beating the Chilean duo formed by Tomas Barrios and Alejandro Tabilo. After an intense match that was defined in a ‘super tie-break’, Galdos and company won 6-2, 2-6 and 10-5.

In this way, Sergio Galdos won his fourth title of the season and his fourteenth at the professional level. Of course, only in the Challenger in Lima, the Arequipa tennis player already accumulates three crowns.

In 2014, he celebrated for the first time with Argentine Guido Pella and two years later he raised the title again alongside Leonardo Mayer. This time, Galdos teamed up with Goncalo Oliveira, who added his third championship this year.

With this result, the national doubles player will return to the top 150 in doubles of the ATP in his update on November 1. Galdos, 31, will have two days to recover, since this Tuesday he will make his debut at the Challenger in Guayaquil.

In Ecuador, Galdos will pair with Argentine Guido Andreozzi and will face his fellow champion in Lima: Goncalo Oliveira. The Portuguese will join Australian Jose Staham in the duel for a place in the quarterfinals.
