LeBron James, Anthony Davis: The trouble starts again

The Los Angeles Lakers were hit hard by injuries to their top two players last season. LeBron James and Anthony Davis have each missed dozens of games due to different physical issues. And they weren’t 100% in the playoffs, until AD ended up missing the end of the losing streak in the first round to the Phoenix Suns.

With several months off, the two superstars were hoping to come back strong this season. But they already have to deal with small health glitches. James did not play Tuesday night for example. The staff preferred to take no risk after an ankle injury – like last season but not in the same place – during the duel with the Memphis Grizzlies.

LeBron James already uncertain for the game against San Antonio?

Davis was there. He even scored 35 points on top of his 17 rebounds. But the interior was also hurt in the last moments of the fourth quarter. That didn’t stop him from finishing the match as his muscles were still warm. But he was forced to undergo treatment for his knee.

As a result, LeBron James and Anthony Davis are both uncertain for the game against the Thunder. Given the current weakness of Oklahoma City, we might as well leave Russell Westbrook maneuver solo at the controls against his old franchise.
