Lazio puts pressure on OM, Bayer curls Celtic

While OM faced Galatasaray at the Vélodrome, in the other group E match, Lazio had to make up for their defeat in Turkey (1-0) two weeks ago. Things were looking good for Maurizio Sarri’s men as the former Bordeaux player Toma Basic quickly opened the scoring (13th). The case was even going very well for the Italians. Before the break, Patric doubled the bet (38th), offering a break ahead of his family. This 2-0 score did not budge thereafter. The Italian club is second, ahead of OM, which it receives on October 21.

In Pool F, Braga, defeated in the first match by the Red Star, had no real choice and had to win when Midtjylland received. However, the Portuguese club started very badly with a first goal conceded from Evander from the penalty spot (19th). Everything changed in the second half, the locals taking advantage of a strong moment to first equalize thanks to Galeno from a penalty (55th), and even take the advantage by Horta (62nd). Galeno even went there with his double in stoppage time (90 + 5). This 3-1 victory is good for the Portuguese. At the same time, the Serbian club went for a valuable success on the lawn of Ludogorets 1-0 and secures the first place with six points.

Bayer is having fun

Direction Group G now where Bayer Leverkusen made short work of Celtic by winning 4-0. With Diaby and Bakker holders, the Germans had fun in Scotland, quickly taking off with goals from Hincapie (25th) and the nugget Florian Wirtz (35th). It was Lucas Alario who sealed the fate of this match with a penalty (58th). Let us still remember the first goal of Amine Adli with his new team at the end of the game (90th + 4). At the same time, Betis forced the decision to Ferencvaros and ended up winning 2-1 thanks to goals from Fekir (17th), Wingo against his side (75th) and Tello (90th + 5). Finally in Group H, Dinamo Zagreb had a great European evening and brought back the 3-0 victory from Racing Genk. A goal from Ivanusec (10th) and a double from Petkovic from the penalty spot (45th + 3, 67th) were enough for the Croats, who made up for it well after their inaugural defeat against West Ham.
