The Kooyong Classic exhibition tournament, which is held each year in a Melbourne suburb before the Australian Open, was canceled due to uncertainty about the rules against Covid-19 that will be imposed on tennis players, organizers announced. It is the second year that this tournament that serves as preparation for the first Grand Slam of the year has been canceled. The president of the contest, Adam Cossar, expressed his disappointment, but assured that he expects him to return in January 2023.
