The “Twilight” alumni returned to the baseball field for an epic reminder of the Cullen siblings scene from the 2008 film in a new video.
The Cullen siblings are together again! Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene, who played brother-sister duo Emmett and Alice Cullen in dusk, reunited for a new parody video created by Mto. Cutshall which shows the couple recreating one of their most iconic scenes from the original vampire movie, namely the infamous baseball game that Kristen Stewartis Bella Swann and Robert pattinson‘s Edward Cullen is also participating. The parody sketch shows a character played by Arielle Vandenberg arguing with her “emo” boyfriend, played by Matt, on a baseball diamond when suddenly 36-year-old Kellan magically appears as Emmett after the word “vampire” has been uttered. Emmett then faces off against the boyfriend in a choreographed fight – but is interrupted by Alice from Ashley, who quickly references the vampire movie that all fans will understand.
“Hi, we’re gonna be great friends,” Alice says to the character Arielle, which is the same line spoken in Kristen’s Bella-like movie. After Alice convinces Emmett that the boyfriend isn’t really a vampire, but that he’s just an “emo,” the fight breaks down and Alice and Emmett walk away. Arielle’s character is shocked by the whole incident. “They’re fast, like in the movies. It’s literally the happiest day of my life, ”she says happily.
Kellan and Ashley shared posts on Instagram from their reunion, which took place almost 13 years after the original dusk came out of. The couple posed for a photo that showed Kellan all smiles as he held Ashley in his arms. Her post, which can be seen above, had the caption “Ma” Bring back a sparkling @twilight love with the best @ashleygreene for our buddy @mattcutshall Emo’s Not Dead! ”
Ashley, meanwhile, shared the same posed photo of the actors, as well as a selfie of her in her baseball outfit while filming. She captioned they are pole, “Blast from the past with @kellanlutz… it made my heart leap to be reunited with this one.”
