Ninomiya Kazuhiro (November 28, 1946 -) was a gold medalist in the men’s 93 kg judo category at the Montreal Olympics in 1976.Born in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture.Judo eight dan.

After graduating from Hakata high school, after working at Tenri University, he studied under Kono Okano at Seikiju.After that, he joined the prefectural police in April 1972 at the invitation of the Fukuoka Prefecture Police Judo Master.In the same year, he won third place in the All Japan Championships.In the 1973 World Championship held in Lausanne, Switzerland, he won the indiscriminate level and finished runner-up in the 1974 All Japan Championship.At the 1976 Montreal Olympics, he defeated his opponent Takafumi Uchiguchi (also runner-up in the All-Japan Judo Championship) and won a gold medal at a level that Japanese athletes were not good at at the time.Although the disappointment was not high, the slender limbs, which were nearly 190 cm away from the Japanese army, were his weapon.At the end of 1978, the 95 kg Kano Cup runner-up retired.Currently, he serves as the director of the Kyushu Judo Association, the Chairman of the Fukuoka Judo Association, and the Judo General Instructor of the Humanities Department of the Fukuoka Police Headquarters.After retiring from retirement age in April 2007, he served as director of the Judo Department of Nishinihon Institute of Technology.Sonoda is a gold medalist in the 80 kg class at the Montreal Olympics and a colleague of the Fukuoka Prefecture Police. He has been an opponent and close friend for more than 30 years.
