Karlovy Vary – Galati 3: 2, Volleyball players of Karlovy Vary passed the second round in the Champions League after the gold set

In the second preliminary round, the Czech champion will face the winner of the youth double match, Zagreb, with the Montenegrin team Budva Volley, which will be decided on Thursday. Successful teams from the third preliminary round will ensure their progress to the group phase of the Champions League, and two teams will move between the elite twenty. Galati will go to Bohemia once more, as he will continue in the CEV Cup, where he will encounter the Prague Lions.

After a while of hesitation, the Karlovy Vary players set off in defense and, after Keemink’s recordings, scored points with both hard attacks and clever blows to the unguarded places of the opponent’s half. “At the beginning of the season, it was a very tough opponent, but today we played great volleyball,” Lukasz Wiese told Czech Television. The Polish smasher took care of 27 points, only the universal Patrik Indra (30) was better.

Karlovy Vary presented itself in European volleyball competitions at home after more than a year and a half. The last time the West Bohemians played in their hall at the international level last March was the quarterfinals of the Challenge Cup. Last season, they played the basic group of the Champions League abroad.
