Kamar’s lawyer is going his own way. Sparta without punishment? That’s a joke, he reacted to UEFA

The roar of children’s fans at the dark-skinned player Glen Kamara in the European League match between Sparta and Rangers was not discriminatory or racist behavior. UEFA investigators, with whom the Scottish Club complained, came up with this verdict.

“The investigation showed that there was not enough evidence of racist or otherwise discriminatory behavior during the match. Therefore, there can be no disciplinary action against Sparta, “she said in a UEFA statement.

That’s the end of the case, period. It should be so, but it is not. Tense Czech-British relations did not calm down with this decision. Kamar’s lawyer Anwar, who demands the exclusion of Sparta from European competitions, has added fuel to the fire again.

“It’s hardly a surprising joke for an authority that can’t even renew a contract with FARE (an anti-discrimination organization in European football) for independent observers to monitor racism,” Aamer Anwar said.

“I suspect that this inaction on the part of UEFA will again be the green light for the further racist insults that will follow. Then politicians either demanding meetings with our ambassador, or maybe some jokers will even want to ‘declare war’ and have me fired, “Anwar insisted that when Sparta objected to allegations published in foreign media and on the Internet, they intervened. also Czech politicians and demanded an apology from the Scottish side.

Anwar presents the Czech Republic as a country of racists since the March incident between Kamara and Ondřej Kúdela. After the eighth finals of the European League, the Finnish national team accused the Slavist defender of racist insult. UEFA punished the Czech national team by banning them from starting in ten matches, although, according to Czech lawyers, not a single piece of evidence that he had committed racism has yet been submitted.

“It is clear that in the Czech Republic there are people who believe that they live in a society completely without racism. Unfortunately, recent events have shown that this is not the case. The behavior of both of these clubs (Sparta and Slavia) has just revealed the tip of the iceberg, “Anwar told the British media.

At Letná, they expected Anwar to continue its attacks on Czech clubs even after the purge of Sparta. “If the second evaluation is a little emotionally colored, it will sound like the odor that some people created on social networks and unfortunately also some media around the match was, to put it mildly, unfounded and unfair,” countered the club’s director of communications Ondřej Kasík for ČTK.
