Juventus think more than ever of Axel Witsel

The January transfer window is already being prepared in the major European formations. This is particularly the case at Juventus, who want to strengthen in two key positions after a difficult start to the season. And it would be a Red Devil who could fill the void.

Juventus is having a complicated start to the season, with 15 out of 30 points in the league. Offensively, Ronaldo’s departure is felt, but more generally, the team seems more fragile than in the past. To avoid a stampede, management therefore plans to recruit two profiles this winter, according to information from Gazzetta dello Sport: a midfielder and an attacker.

Regarding the environment, the Italian newspaper says: the priority is called Axel Witsel. With his experience, the Belgian is an executive from Dortmund, where his contract expires in June 2022. Its price is not a brake, with an agreement that could be found around 10 to 15 million euros. For the future club, Juve would also like to offer Aurelien Tchouaméni, a young 21-year-old player who plays in Monaco. Europe is tearing itself apart and the deal will probably not be concluded before the summer. Denis Zakaria, from Mönchengladbach, is the third option.

Offensively, Juventus would target Dusan Vlahovic, who shines brightly at Fiorentina. On the sales side, the club wants to see McKennie, Ramsey and Dejan Kulusevski leave.
