Juventus stars condemned to a one-week training camp after a miserable start
Juventus is only in the middle of the table after eleven match days, the top is almost unattainable. The bosses are therefore drawing the first conclusions.
The club officials of Juventus Turin have the team as a result of the 1: 2 defeat against Hellas Verona on Saturday according to information from Goal and SPOX condemned to a week-long training camp.
The bosses approached coach Massimiliano Allegri with the corresponding request, who has already agreed. From Monday to Saturday, Turin should work behind closed doors to reverse the trend as quickly as possible after the miserable start of the season in Serie A.
Juventus Turin currently only ninth in the table
With just 15 points from the first eleven games, the Italian record champions are currently only ninth, the gap to the top duo Napoli and Milan is already 13 points. The 1: 2 in Verona was also the third winless league game in a row.
“Any words are meaningless now,” Allegri said after the game DAZN. “We are in a bad situation and we have to accept that the reality right now is that we are a midfield team.”
On Tuesday, Juve must first play in the Champions League against Zenit St. Petersburg. Then there are two extremely important games in Serie A against Florence (November 6th) and Lazio (November 20th).
