Juventus escapes defeat from the spot in the final phase in the top match against Inter Foreign Football

A leagueInter and Juventus have balanced each other in the Derby d’Italia: 1-1. Inter seemed to be on their way to the three points for a long time, but Paulo Dybala prevented a defeat for the Oude Dame in the final phase from the spot.




Juventus had started the season quite dramatically with a 2 out of 12 in Serie A, but with six wins in a row – all competitions included – the Old Lady had started on the march. Juve wanted to continue on the field of Inter, the team that last year Juventus held the league title for the first time since 2011.

In Guiseppe Meazza, Juventus initially looked the cat out of the tree, as usual. Inter showed more eagerness and were rewarded for this after more than fifteen minutes – Calhanoglu hit the post, Dzeko simply tapped in the rebound. Juve mainly lacked the creativity to shake Inter, 1-0 was the halftime score.

After the break, Juventus showed a sharper appearance, but Inter themselves were too happy to crawl backwards. Still, the Nerazzuri seemed to win the three points. Until Denzel Dumfries tapped Alex Sandro just within the sixteen in minute 87. Penalty kick, judged referee Maurizio Mariani after viewing the footage. The eleven meter turned out to be a breeze for Paulo Dybala, who saved Juventus from defeat in the extreme.

In the standings, neither team gets much done with a draw. Inter remains third on seven points from leaders Napoli and Milan, Juventus is still three points in debt in sixth place.
