Judocas will represent us in Aysén at the Araucanía Games – Chile 2021

This October 31, the Judo team from Los Ríos of the Binational Games of Araucanía – Chile 2021 travels to compete in this discipline, in the Aysén region.

October 29, 2021.- Twelve athletes from the communes of Panguipulli, Mariquina, La Unión and Valdivia, will be in charge of representing the Los Ríos region in the 2021 version of the binationals, which this year is differentiated by regions and disciplines .

The judo event summons representatives of this discipline from Ñuble to the south, within the framework of the Chilean part of the Binational Games of Araucanía. On this occasion, as explained by the Seremi of Sports Christian Yantani “There are 6 ladies and 6 men athletes in charge of representing our region, who travel accompanied by two technicians and a kinesiologist; In addition, as a region, we contribute to these games with the participation of Abdul Santana de Valdivia, who is a judge of this discipline.”.

The regional authority adds that “Judo has had an important participation as a sport in our region, and in particular in the Binational Games of Araucanía, where our sports talents, who currently work in the Crecer en Movimiento workshops in the region, are projected towards high performance in Los Rivers.”

Judo Delegation

The group that will represent our region is made up of the athletes of Mariquina Marieta Rivas Osses and Diego Paredes Vásquez; from La Unión, Felipe Araya Tiznado; from Panguipulli: Karla Valdebenito Gutiérrez, Antonia Velásquez Quijada, Adela Espinoza Sandoval and Juan Pablo Leiva Hernández. Meanwhile, Montserrat Ojeda Leiva, Javiera Garrido Zúñiga, Agustín Osses Lillo, Diego Pineda Ulloa and Fernando Corales Ruiz participate from Valdivia. The coaching staff is made up of coaches Samuel Segura Moya and Hernán Mendoza Yépes, who travel accompanied by kinesiologist María Jesús Heisele.

The judo competition will run from November 1 to 3, based at the Aysén Regional Training Center, and will be broadcast live and direct through the Facebook Mindep Aysén.
