Judocas from the region stood out in the Bogotá National and go to the Pan-American

Two silver medals, two bronze medals and two quotas for the Colombian National Team that will compete in the Pan-American Championship in the Dominican Republic, was the balance that the Santander Judo Team participated in, which took part in the National Championship, under 13 and under 15 categories. which was played in Bogotá.

The local delegation participated in the National with nine athletes, a coach and a judge.

At the time of the medals, María José Poloche García achieved the silver medal in the 38 kilograms of the sub-13 category.

Daniel Felipe Díaz Amado also got the second drawer of the podium, at the same body weight of 38 kilograms, but in the men’s branch of the sub 13 category.

These athletes, María José and Daniel Felipe, thanks to their outstanding presentation, were selected to represent Colombia in the Pan American Championship of the category that will be held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, from November 11 to 13.

The other medalists ‘hormigueros’ in the national contest were Juan Sebastián Santos, who took the bronze in the 52 kilograms of the sub 13 category and Alan Cristóbal Salazar, who also ‘bathed’ in bronze in the 53 kilograms of the sub category 13.

In addition, local judokas Daniela Estéfany Ardila, Juan Diego Chapeta Carreño, David Gaute Corzo, Carlos Hernández Ardila and Matías Valencia Ocampo also competed and showed that they are on the right track in their sporting process.

Judge Angie Tatiana León and coach Baudilio Hernández were also there.
