The FAREM-Estelí judo delegation participated in the 2021 Fighting Sports University Festival, held at the Rubén Darío University Campus of UNAN-Managua. In the meeting, the Estelian athletes obtained five gold medals, two silver and two bronze.
The gold medal winners are: Doricel Gutiérrez Matey, in the 44 kg; Willi Sevilla, 55 kg; Jeyson Alaniz, 60 kg; Jhon Hernández, 73 kg and Jelsin Alaniz, 90 kg. While, the silver medal winners are: Naydeling Huete, 52 kg and Elian Pastora, 73 kg. For their part, Adrianis Castillo, 63 kg and Keyling López, 57 kg, won a bronze medal.
