The capitaleño Juan Guerrero continues to show his value as a player and with another superb performance he placed San Sebastián comfortable in the first place of the superior basketball tournament here. Don Bosco is left alone in the second position of the contest, dedicated to the Administrative Minister of the Presidency José Ignacio Paliza.
San Sebastián (4-1) achieved an important 97-87 victory against José Horacio Rodríguez (2-3), in the tournament that has the endorsement of the Dominican Basketball Federation (FEDOMBAL).
Guerrero achieved his fifth game with double figures in points and rebounds. The “Ñoño”, as the tall power forward-center player is nicknamed, once again boosted the Red Empire’s offense with 29 points and 16 rebounds, in 35:42 minutes of play, where he shot 21-12 from the field and 5- 7 in free casts.

La Cancha dominated the first half (44-35), but Don Bosco took advantage in the last quarter and with an intense defense and 40% in his sets of three during the game, they hammered the cancheros who had a terrible performance shooting 6.3% on 3-pointers at 16-1.
For the runners-up of Don Bosco they shone; Samuel with 27 points, Mejía 21, Adonis de Jesús 14 points and 20 rebounds, Luis Reyes and Mikael Ureña 13 points each. They stood out in La Cancha; Mike Watkins, with 24 points and 15 rebounds, Luis Martínez 20, Warlyn Disla 16, Yermison Bencosme 14 points.
